Petrolimex Singapore has the honour to finance the project of Uncle Ho Statue in Sri Lanka

On November 25th, the inauguration ceremony for Uncle Ho Statue in Sri Lanka was ceremoniously held in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.

At 9.30am of Nov.25, President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa and Deputy Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Binh Minh solemnly raised the veil covering the Statue of Uncle Ho, in witness of leaders and officials of the two countries.

Petrolimex Singapore is honoured to be one of the parties financing the project . The trade union representing Petrolimex Singapore flew to Colombo to witness the statue inauguration ceremony.

In follow up talks and meetings, the two parties were unanimous in encouraging enterprises of the two countries to do business in the other country, chiefly in areas where the two countries have advantages like the growing and processing of tea in Vietnam, the supply of petroleum products, the exploration and production of oil and gas as well as the construction of infrastructure in this field in Sri Lanka.
