
From October 10th to 12th, 2024, in Phu Quoc, Petrolimex Singapore organized Appreciation Night and celebrated the 15th anniversary of the company's establishment. Attending the conference were Mr. Phan Van Chinh, Director of Domestic Market Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade; Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex); Mr. Dao Nam Hai, Member of the Board of Directors, CEO of Vietnam National Petroleum Group; former leaders and current leaders of Petrolimex Group; and representatives from domestic and international partners.

Among the units in Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Petrolimex Singapore is one of the exemplary members, playing an important role in the goods distribution network. Over more than 20 years of establishment and development, starting from a small representative office (in 2002), expanding to a branch office (in 2004), and now becoming a fully-fledged company (since November 16, 2009), Petrolimex Singapore has grown into a dynamic, flexible, and scalable company that adapts quickly to regional and international integration trends.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Group, commented: "The company not only helps the Group expand its business network and improve service efficiency and quality, but also works together with the Group to fulfill the political mission of ensuring a stable supply of petroleum products for the domestic market. Additionally, by maintaining and promoting its crucial role as an important bridge for Petrolimex, the company has contributed to enhancing the presence and reputation of the Petrolimex brand in international markets, while also facilitating cooperation with global strategic partners."

In the context of global energy market fluctuations, Petrolimex Singapore has steadily overcome common difficulties and emerged as one of the leading units in terms of contributions to production and business results, as well as to the stability and development of Petrolimex.
Mr. Pham Van Thanh expressed his joy over the achievements the company has attained in recent years, and he acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Petrolimex Singapore’s passionate, ambitious, and responsible staff towards the overall development of the Group.
After overcoming the global oil market crisis in 2014 and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Petrolimex Singapore's revenue in 2023 reached 4.1 billion USD, with total output at 6.1 million m³ and a return on equity of 30%.
To express its continued support for the company's development in the coming years, Mr. Pham Van Thanh emphasized: "On behalf of the Group, we commit to continuing to accompany, support, and create the most favorable conditions, providing clear and flexible directives, solutions, and policies to help the company further improve its services to the market, striving to build a more agile, stronger, and more developed Petrolimex Singapore."
On behalf of all the company, Mr. Bui Ngoc Thach Anh, Chairman of Petrolimex Singapore expressed gratitude to the leaders of ministries, departments, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group, customers, partners, the company’s past leadership teams, employees, and stakeholders who have supported the company over the years.

"Fifteen years may not be a long period for a business”, he shared at the event, “but for Petrolimex Singapore, it has been a long, difficult, and challenging journey, with moments where we nearly succumbed. However, thanks to the close attention and direction from the Vietnam National Petroleum Group, the trust and continuous support from our partners, customers, and financial institutions, as well as the solidarity of the company’s leaders and staff over the generations, the company has achieved many proud accomplishments."
In the coming journey, Petrolimex Singapore is committed to continuing to build on the achievements it has made, strengthening and preserving the prestige of the Petrolimex brand, and rightfully playing the role of an extension arm of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group in international markets.
