17/10/2024, Petrolimex Singapore is proud to be the first company to bring Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to Vietnam, marking a significant milestone in the country’s energy transition. As the trading arm of Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Petrolimex Singapore has been instrumental in importing, handling, and delivering SAF to Vietnam, ensuring that the fuel meets international quality standards and is available for the aviation industry’s shift to greener solutions.
Currently, Petrolimex Aviation is the sole provider of SAF for airlines in Vietnam, proudly supplying SAF for international flights, including those operated by Vietjet Air. This collaboration highlights 2 companies's role in pioneering the introduction of SAF to the country and supporting the growth of sustainable aviation fuel use in Vietnam.
Looking ahead, Petrolimex Singapore and Petrolimex Aviation will continue their strong partnership to further promote SAF in Vietnam. Together with the entire Petrolimex Group, we are committed to driving the transition to green energy and supporting sustainable practices in the aviation sector.
